New foundation created to battle drug dependency
Unique fundraiser marks the formation of a foundation that will make information and funds available to families looking to conquer chemical abuse.
No one is immune to the destructive effects of using drugs like Meth, Heroin, Cocaine and inhalants. Recently inner cities, suburbs, and even rural areas have all seen a strong rise in Methamphetamine addictions and related crimes. Founded on a personal conviction to make a difference, the newly-formed MDC Foundation will give aid to those seeking information and financial assistance to those who cannot afford treatment.
MDC Foundation believes that everyone should be given a chance to beat drugs and stands on the frontlines as a resource. Families need not feel helpless, wondering how to deal with their loved-ones destructive behavior. Those directly in the clutches of addiction and know they need to change need not do it alone.
The mission is three-fold: to raise awareness about the affects of drugs and alcohol on families, to provide direction to those seeking answers about their problem, and to give financial assistance to those who seek substance abuse rehabilitation and prove need.
Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the MDC foundation offers a FREE 24 hour national phone Help Desk, at 888-778-0558. Information regarding regional and national substance abuse program, intervention and other related materials are available through the MDC Help Desk support. Those fighting drug dependency who seek placement in a substance abuse program and need financial assistance can apply online through www.mdcfoundation.org.
Those who want to support MDC foundation through either time or financial donations can find out more at the website or email info@mdcfoundation.org.
